There really isn't any reason to partner with Blackberry as Blackberry isn't doing well, so DeNA makes a lot more sense, plus both are Japanese companies

BlackBerry is good company that lacks mass appeal, something Nintendo could help them with through games. and Nintendo could benefit through using BlackBerry's OS and their online expertise.
BlackBerry in now focused on Enterprise customers who need security, not people who play games on their phones. There are still some who like the physical keyboard, but for the most part the people who like the keyboard are using it for business purposes too.
