Forums - Gaming - Looks like No Man's Sky isn't coming to Xbox

So it looks like NMS isn't coming to Xbox One, they said it was a console exclusive and it isn't timed either because they would have said it was first on PlayStation like the game that came before it Avicii Vector.

Oh and Sony is actually publishing the PS4 version now, and they have actual Sony producers working on the game. It's also coming to PC day 1 with the PS4 version.

Is it coming to PC? Pity about it not coming to the box.

Oh yeah, it is coming to PC.

I think I may get it on PC if it's not full price.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Does it still qualify as an indie game?

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I caught that too. My guess is that Sony saw the popularity/hype and offered them a sony sponsored marketing contract to guarantee they don't put it on XB1/WiiU/NX.

I have a feeling that FF7R is gonna end up with similiar terms -- but a 1 year exclusivity on PS4 first. (In other words, it lands on PS4 for 1 year then launches on PC and no others).

yeah it seems like its going to be a PS4 and PC game only.

There was only 1 thing NMS was missing to be considered a AAA: a recognized publisher.

If the news are true and Sony is publishing the game. Could this be considered a AAA now?

If Sony has their hands in this thing, my excitment just vanished. Same thing would be true if it were Nintendo or MS. Indie games don't have to adhere to a marketing firm. AAA games do. If this is true, it would explain why the game took so damn long to come out... last minute changes.

Obviously it will be a VR-game

Time will tell.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
