Don't forget that since Resident Evil 4 Wii is playable with Classic Controller, that means this port will be playable directly with the gamepad.

Thats a downgrade though, to useing the nunchucks to play it with.

It was what made the wii version the best version of the game to play.

Port is not the right word for what this is. It wasn't ported to the Wii U. It was ported to the Wii and made purchasable on the eshop. It's not pointless because this version of the game was not available digitally before this. I'm looking forward to more 3rd party Wii games entering the eshop.

No, I'd rather play with standard controls. They need to patch Wii mode so it's playable with a pro controller, though. It's been months.

There's so many different versions of Resident evil so I don't know the one you mean. This is a port odd resident evil 4 wii edition. Whereas ps/x1 got RE remaster and RE revelations 2. I got wii u and ps4 so not a drama but principle ya know

It's not really a port. They're just making the game available to be purchased on the eshop. That's a good thing, not bad. We need more third party Wii games available on the eshop.

We need any third party Wii games.

Also DS games.

Hopefully this is a sign of things soon to come.
