The Wind Waker for sure, but I really enjoy the series as a whole

WOW wow wow. First of all Oot was absolutely revolutionary. So you have to give it credit just for that. Then it was also the last Zelda to have Green, Blue and Red tunics which I used to love getting the new tunics. I think ALBW might have them but I don't play handheld games. You started as a kid and grew up that was awesome. Gannondorf coughing up blood at the end was cool. Gerudo valley part was awesome. Water temple while I hated it at the time I actually take pride in saying I beat that level without a guide because back in those days I didn't even know how to use the internet to get one. The Deku tree and the forest temple were so cool the gorons and that dance the goron cheif did. I am super nostalgic for that game.

Never said it wasn't important and never said it doesn't "deserve credit." It is and it does. Doesn't mean it's anywhere close to being the best Zelda game, though. Importance =/= superior quality. I can name five Zelda games off the top of my head that are vastly superior in design that Zelda, regardless of impact on the industry. I know you're nostalgic for that game. So am I. So are most people who love that game, but it's over rated. Great game. Not even close to being the best Zelda games, and all of the worst aspects of the series started with that game.

Only bad thing about Oot I can think of was the damn Owl... Meanwhile a game like Skyward Sword was pretty much Zelda in name only. Felt more like a Metroid game than a Zelda and there was absolutely nothing to do in the world it felt like one big dungeon. I liked it but has to be the worst Zelda in my opinion. I am actually shocked how many people on here have said it was their favorite. The final boss battle and the controls were awesome but still least favorite.

Wind Waker and A link to the past

Mmmmmh Skyward Sword, closely followed by The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess

Wind Waker's my favourite game of all time, so that.
