By and large I agree with you. But, for instance, I purchased a PSTV earlier this year in March, and as much as I love it, I've hardly touched it since. So because of lack of play time, it's hard for me to justify dropping around $300 on a console when I currently have other options. But sometimes I have that itchy trigger finger to buy something new, and it's easier to justify that $30 game to further my collection as opposed to $300 console that I might hardly touch. That's the bigger picture here.
