Forums - Sony - Dragon Quest Heroes looks too good

In that they should've reduced the graphics to improve performance.

I'm not even talking aout the frame drops in a lot of action. But not being able to look or walk around in the fortress without stuttering is pitiful.

In before "there is no stuttering", "my eyes are fine, your console is broken".

I'm getting a new expensive TV next week. Maybe that helps.

This is why one should never buy a gaming PC if you intend to keep gaming on console. You get used to the inherently better performance and visuals, and then when you play on a console, the framerate feels low, or the visuals look bad, or both.

And I'm not even completely joking here. Just partially.

That's the sad truth. But as long as they're releasing must haves exclusive to console I don't have a choice.

But I've come to a point where I can ignore the visuals on console but not the performance. I'd rather play it in 720p than at inconsistent fps. And it's not like a DQ game really needs great visuals. Maybe my new TV really will help could be something up with the refresh rate.
