Forums - Microsoft - Are the people making the most noise about halos splitscreen removel even Halo fans??

I used to really enjoy the Halo franchise. I would play it with family and friends, having a blast while doing so,
Local co-op was a major factor in this. Playing a game with someone being physically in the room with you is much more fun and engaging.

Omitting a feature that has been in every major Halo game is such a strange move. I did not enjoy Halo 4 as much as the other Halo titles either, maybe 343 Industries are not up to the task. The story sounds like such a copout too. The Master Chief is a fugitive now? Okay... He has saved earth multiple times, but he is a villain now... sort of (he disobeyed orders). Ehhhhh. Jameson Locke has been given the task to take him down. I bet you that the next game, Master Chief will be back on board with the UNSC, however they will put him on probation or something and he will disobey protocol, then in the next game the Master Chief becomes a drug dealer.

I prefer just to ignore it now.

Some people need to accept that split screen is pretty much dead.

Edit: never mind. I'm not arguing with you again.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Split screen is dead. If there was a statistic of gamers who play splitscreen it will be very low. Online is the way to go.

Split screen is done, no more screen watching lol.

Split screen is all my kids play in our house...
Halo can be for the old generation, next generation of gamers can grow up with something else.

If there was a statistic, then we would know whether or not your guess of it being low was right or wrong. But since there isn't, you can't say it's low. You can just guess.

Most games don't have splitscreen this generation for a reason.

I've been informed it's not possible from a technological point of view.

No, but at the same time, what is more important. Split screen that only 10 people at max will use or 60fps throughout the game to make the game smoothe for everyone. The choice isn't hard, but go ahead and take your time. No rush.
