What Should I do

Buy Wii U now 203 42.65%

Wait for NX 125 26.26%

Buy Wii U at bargain price 86 18.07%

Buy Hooker 62 13.03%

Total:476

I could never buy a used console, not really helping Nintendo either!!

While conventional knowledge leads us to believe the NX will be backwards compatible the patents say otherwise.

Honestly I say wait for actual information about the NX, BUT if you really want the Wii U look for a cheap bundle in the holidays.

No they don't.

It's barely cheaper than a PS4, it's a rip off.

As someone who has both I can tell you that gamewise Nintendo's system is ahead atm.

PS4 sold on a promise of great games which for the most part are yet to come.

Obviously it's in my opinion. It's also "in my opinion" that the delay isn't going to make it any less crap, because many of the things that make it crap are the foundation from which the game has built on.

Like rebooting the antiquated formula built by Star Fox SNES again instead of evolving like every other major Nintendo franchise has. In my, "blatantly wrong by the way," opinion.

Emily Rogers has already mirrored my sentiments exactly in this blog post, however.

Fingers crossed Miyamoto won't have anything to do with Star Fox NX so this can happen, and Star Fox actually has a shot at being good. Then they can sell Star Fox Arcade on the side for $20 for those who still want a 1990s 2 hour rail shooter in HD.

Wasn't Emily Rogers the person who made that really crappy article before Star Fox got announced at E3 2014 about how Star Fox could never work in this day and age or something like that? If that's the case, she really doesn't have any credibility to me.

I don't care what you consider to be too arcadey or outdated, Star Fox 64 is one of the best games I've ever played and Star Fox Zero is looking like it's going to be a solid evolution to that. I'm sure it will be as amazing as, if not more, than SF64, and that's all I care about, because it's the first game to give that experience in almost 20 years. I love the $20 outdated arcade rail shooter.

Yer but that is you.  You need to look at it from a Nintendo perspective. There is litrally loads of people that can see future potential with star fox.

Yes the 20 year old formula will work for  the existing nintendo base, but lets face it, nintendo base is shrinking and the franchise needs to grow and has the potential to grow to capture a new generation of gamer.

I looked at that article and you know what, it doesn't sound half bad.

I myself always wanted star fox to have a deeper story with space exploration in the style of freelancer, but she used another game as an example.

Online mode in the style of star wars battlefront, sounds great (minus the stupid season pass)

Hell do an animated TV show for kids to tie it into the game franchise, after all NIntnedo looking to expand beyond gaming via other entertainment.

If it was all about me I too would settle for what you want, but at the same time I am happy to try a new experience.

Ask yourself this, how many people bought the PS4 because it had so many games worth justifying it at launch?

The console sold on hype of future games. Great marketing!!

Wii U has games you can play right now and want to play, NX is an unknown

At this point might as well wait to get more information on the nx before deciding on a purchase.

WiiU is out now, has some decent games.
We don't even know what NX is, let alone release date, or games.

Choice seems pretty obvious, what do you like more, games or waiting for them?

I'd say at least wait til Black Friday on the Wii-U. Personally I'm waiting for a deep price cut, but I'm only interested in a few specific titles.

you can lock my thread but you can't deny the truth.
