Franchise fatigue. Not touching it.
I'll buy it, but I won't be buying it day one like previous titles, I'll probably get it at Xmas and play it on my week off work.
I'm still waiting for this pirate game that Ubisoft said they were going to do after the success of black flag (which is my favourite) is there any news whatsoever on this?

Well Unity sold great inspite of small userbase and reception. If Syndicate is better game, well it could achieve similar numbers and better. But the series days of doing 10 million are probably gone.
Bottom line, AC failing is going going to help the games you like succeed. Even if we stop playing AC we aren't gonna get a Wii U.

Well for what its worth, AC3 and Liberation is arguably the series at its worst.
Unity has significant problems yet still more fun than AC3.

Wow. I actually really enjoyed ac unity too. This game has just been off the radar completely. I'll pick this up when it's $20.
Well for PC they will no doubt sell it on Steam but then require you install Uplay and I've sworn from using that client after the annoyances I'd suffered from using it before and at this point in the game I'm already using clients like Steam, B.net and Origin with some DRM free games from GoG, not going to be using Uplay anytime soon and I've been fine without laying the Creed series since II and noticed how far it's gone downhill, I won't really miss not buying this like I've done the previous installments.

As of yesterday, it was still in the 50s on the hourly chart. Currently it's in the 20s, but it still hasn't even shown up on the monthly top 100. Pretty surprising. Comes out on Friday.
I've never been into AC, but hoping it does at least respectable numbers. Though I'm not a huge fan of annualized series. Maybe low sales would be a good thing. Maybe they'd cut back to every 2yrs for AC releases, which would bring less franchise fatigue.
I had no idea this game was releasing so soon. Definitely thought it was a late November title.
I wasn't surprised since I know it releases in a couple days since I live in Europe and every sort of TV ad is about Playstation :v
Still since I don't own a platform that can run the game and I'm also not interested in it I won't buy it...
