I just noticed that, despite ACS releasing in 1 week, it's not even in the top 100 for October's sales on Amazon. This shocked me. I know Amazon isn't the only retailer selling ACS, but it's a decently reliable indicator for game sales.

So, is this a bad sign for the success of ACS? These games normally sell 7mill plus copies, so seems to be.

10/19 update:  Currently ACS is in the 20s, but it still hasn't even shown up on the monthly top 100. Pretty surprising. Comes out on Friday.

Glad nobody cares about that franchise anymore. The amount of utter apathy for this game is delicious.

Damn you're right it does release next week I had completely forgotten about it!
Judging from what I've heard it sounds like another Unity launch situation and I can't really blame people for not buying it at launch for that reason. Heck, I applaud people for avoiding the game all together

I hope it's a blowup for the previous installment. I don't care for the series at all but i do care about giving flak to false promises of quality.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

What's the appeal here?

It seems like they want to make it a dramatic story this time with the brother and sister main characters?

What's different than AC2,3,4,5?

BUT, at least Ubisoft is smart enough to realize this and making new franchises like Watch Dogs / For Honor / The Divison / South Park / The Crew (even though it bombed hard)

Unity destroyed everything, I think it's normal that the appeal for Syndicate it's low. I'm a huge fan of the series but i will buy it after 2-3 months.

I'm actually hyped for this one, and I haven't played an AC game since AC 2.

It releases next week!?? I didn't hear a thing!

I haven't played a AC game since Revelations, and I'm happy that way.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I like the AC games in general, but the annualised release schedule and overall monotony of each entry burned me out on the franchise long ago. I mean, I haven't even played III or Black Flag yet and I don't even own Rogue or Unity.

I wouldn't be surprised to see more people end up in the same boat after each successive entry.

Seems several ppl were surprised it releases next week. I was, too. I thought it was releasing in November.

Has there been the typical level of AC advertising for ACS? I don't have cable so I have no idea.
