I still play Diablo 2 to this day. The game is a godsend to the hack'n'slash genre. It fit the genre like no other has, could, or ever will... except maybe Diablo 3. However, if D3 turns out to be some trash MMO Pay to Play, the game will be epic crap, regardless of how awesome it is and how much I'll want to do it.

Diablo 3 is the only game I would be willing to pay to play =(
That being said I hope that is isn't but as long as it gets out I will be happy.

True, although if you remember the world stone was destroyed and they hinted that the consequences of that are unpredictable. They have still left an opening for Diablo 3.
