Recently it would be uncharted. Even with the pinball spin-off and (imo) the mediocre vita game it's easily one of the top recent franchises.

Right up there with Gears of War and Mass Effect. Oh and the Bioshock franchise.


I usually don't question others tastes/opinion on software, but as you're a fan of the franchise, Uncharted Golden Abyss was mediocre to you?

Well apparently I'm in the very small group who loves sly cooper, although I'm playing R&C for the first time and it's really good too.
Sly Cooper > ratchet & clank > GOW = Uncharted

Just out of curiosity, what Ratchet & Clank games have you played so far?


I'm almost done with the first game, loving the balance between combat and platforming. I'm playing the HD collection on ps3 so I've got the first three games.

I think soon you'll like R&C more than Sly Cooper then

 

Really, the second and third (and every subsequent mainline game) is miles better than the first. You should really buy A Crack in Time and Tools of Destruction for PS3 as well. Personally, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time is my favourite game of all time, with second place going to Sly Cooper: A band of thieves (You aren't the only one who loves Sly Cooper lol).
