Forums - Nintendo - Need some info from Nintendo

I get that. I think they have been given a break for the most part. I'm getting to the point, partly due to the time of year, where they need to get back in teh saddle and put the customer first.

When the leader of your company dies, there's no better reason to not put your consumer first for a while. And like I said, it's obvious that that while is ending this month, so it's not as if they've taken too long.

With it nearing the holiday season, there actually is a need to become vocal. I'm certainly not sure about what, but something.

Yes, which is why we should start hearing more from them soon, and why most people think there will be a Direct [sometime] soon

Hopefully.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

That's bunk.

Not all news is bad. They don't always get flack for everything. Mario Maker has done VERY well, and has been received very well. Hell, even the latest Animal Crossing has done super well (some how) but it has been very quiet.

No matter any news there will always be those that hate on it, that shouldn't halt their release of news and information.

I didn't say that all news were bad ...

Do you think they have any other information to divulge in the near term ?

I'm thinking you should be asking them that. That's the point of this thread.

Of course. It's not a shot towards Iwata or anything like that to continue on with the business. In fact, it would likely be more of a shot towards Iwata's memory if the company stalled and didn't try moving forward. Iwata was quite sick, he still worked his ass off, probably more than he should have sadly. But sometimes respect comes if many different forms.

couldn't care less if they are silent or not.

Got a job to worry about, got a que of games to play still (some I've owned for 10 years and haven't played yet).

The backlog available on Nintendo systems is so big there really is no need for news, unless you are telling me you have played at least 40 games on Wii U already that I would consider worth purchases.

You make a really valid point lol.

I wonder if that's my issue right now. I have had the last 5 days off work without much to do so I haven't had anything to worry about. I too have quite the backlist.

There are the few new games coming out I'm interested in though.

They need to drop the Wii U price by $50 and offer some holiday bundle deal to boot. And have some better commercials.

I'm aware that Nintendo has went through a whole bunch of changes recently with Iwata's passing and the torch being passed on, among other things

However, near the forefront should be information to the customers/consumers of Nintendo's products. We haven't had a whole lot of information from them recently on much of anything. There was the info of Starfox being delayed, but nothing beyond that. No information on holiday bundles (if there will be any). No info on Zelda, no new game announcements, nothing really. So that leaves many questions. Anything about the possiblity of the NX? New games? Support for the Wii U?

It has been abhorrently quiet on the Nintendo front for some time now. It's not just big morsels of information, but small alike.

I would love to know what you guys think of this. Please no troll posts or akin, please just thoughtful responses.

It makes sense for Nintendo to be quiet with all the bad news happening around them plus if it's not good news I think it's better for the community here to not know ...

Only real bad news was Iwata passing and Star Fox delaying, but Nintendo had some good news too like Pokken Fighters announcement, Pikmin 4 being nearly completed, Mario Maker launch with bundles and sale numbers, Animal Crossing launch, new Amiibos, announcement of new 3DS exclusives, Skull Kid in Hyrule Warriors...only it make sense to be quiet till now is because of Iwata passing and big changes because of that in Nintendo, like for Nintendo Directs.

Only thing we miss till now was Nintendo Direct were majority of those infos would be, but I expecting this month Nintendo Direct with some new infos.
