Yesterday it was officially revealed that Sony had acquired the former Best Buy Theater and renamed it the PlayStation Theater.

The theater, located in New York City’s famous Time Square, is a sight to see. The outside display displays clips of Sony’s most memorable games this current generation followed by their tagline “Greatness Awaits.”

While entry inside is strictly limited to those who are ready to enjoy one of the many venues offered by the theater, a quick pick inside is still a window into how gorgeous the interior is.

But if you don’t happen to live in New York (or even if you do), we at DualShockers (namely myself and Staff Writer Ryan Meitzler) have put together a gallery of images for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home or office.

Wow Sony definitely bringing back that ps1/ps2 vibe when PlayStation was everywhere.

Would be a cool place to announce a price cut too.
