Forums - Sony - So...just ordered the PS TV

Just bought one for $36 on Amazon. Recently bought a used Vita from a friend, but the PS TV is worth it, especially since I can play my Vita games.

Quick question: I have a ps4. It's it possible to play a two player game on two different screens? I would jizz my pants RIGHT NOW if this is possible!!

It was patched away, so do that trick before you update.

It remains even after updates, so make sure you do that before you update.

Gonna do it now. I HOPE you're right about it remaining after the update because I really want to update! Also, I worry about giving that app my email but that could just be my paranoia speaking.

It does not remain after the update!! You'll have to choose between the hack or the most recent update (which is the only way to access the PSN store).

I have a Vita so I can still download games to a card.....but that also means that I can play 100% of my Vita games--even the ones that won't work on the PSTV.  Guess I'm going to go the honest route.

Could anyone confirm how well the PS TV gets along with its Network Media Player and Universal Media Player?
Still waiting for my delivery but already having trouble on the PSV with the UMS and I'm curious if it works any better on the PS TV.

Well....gotta confirm that there is a way to actually play videos off the laptop on the Vita...but it's so fucking stupid I'm really kinda bummed about it.

Sooo...got the PS TV...at long last.

Did NOT expect it to be smaller than a Dual Shock 3.

Does exactly what I want it to do...just not HOW I wanted it to do it.

Surprising visual quality for Vita games up on the big screen. Was really impressed by Killzone Mercenary last night.
Also, PSX games look, somehow, better than when I run them off the PS3...or the PSX, as it were. Wonder why.

Pretty happy with the lil' thing so far.

I (finally!) ordered Killzone, myself! Should be waiting for me when I get home from vacation. Disappointed by a few incompatible titles that I own but the good far outweighs the bad. Thanks for getting me excited about this thing. I'm in your debt.

Glad we're both enjoying our purchases. Would have been unpleasant otherwise XD.

I'm really impressed with the visual quality of PSX games on the big screen. I'll hook up my old PSX tonight to see a side by side comparison, just for curiosity's sake.
