That's a legitimate concern.
I will caution potential applicants that the frequency of posts and threads isn't the most important thing. It's about making meaningful posts, and taking ownership of your threads. And it's also about creating an environment where many different voices can be heard and validated.

It does say make "meaningful posts and threads" so someone spamming would probably hurt his chances of making it.
