- during a recent Q&A promoting the Blu-ray release of Age of Ultron Marvel Studios exec Jeremy Latcham said the following about the Avengers "as we know them":

“I think it definitely is an end to some version of the team that we’ve come to know as The Avengers. Who knows exactly what is going to happen yet in that film, but I think this version of that team—and I think we start to hint at it at the end of Age of Ultron—will be evolving.”

- Latcham points out to the fact that the idea of rotating out The Avengers comes straight from the comics, but assures the ideal of what the team was originally formed to be will remain, he said:

“One of the things we love from the comics is that the roster is always changing and new people are coming onto the team, and you can pick up an Avengers book 10 years later and you don’t recognize the people on the cover. But the ideas and ideals and things that make the Avengers the Avengers still exist, and I think that’s part of what this culmination will be. We’re seeing this version of the team doing this thing to save the universe, the galaxy, however you want to put it, and we’ll kind of see where that goes. It’s not the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I think that it is the end of part of it for sure. We’re still trying to sort out that point.”

So, who do you think leaves the Avengers, joins the Avengers?

Spider-Man perhaps?

Do you think some of the Avengers could die?

Who do you think will die? Who do you want to die? :P

To remove characters they have to come up with some excuse. Given it is Marvel I'd be stunned to see them actually kill someone and stick with it. My guess is after Infinity War they will "retire" the old guard.

I suppose they will be forced to reboot the cinematic universe if the next avengers line up isn't popular.

I think most of the characters will be the same but with new actors.

I'm hoping the next team consists of Tigra, Wonder Man, Black Knight and Machina Man.

Robert Downey Jr. probably won't return, so Iron Man is most likely one of the Avengers that will leave.

I could see that happening. Question is how long do they keep this going until they inevitably reboot it all?

Reading between the lines: We will be getting rid of the expensive actors so we can make even more money.

Just do it like the comics, with everyone getting sick of each other, especially the big ego guys.

Personally, I want to see She-Hulk. She's way better than her cousin. And what about Pulsar (black female Captain Marvel) or Carol Danvers?

Seriously, though, and I really mean this, the cinematic Avengers will never be the real Avengers to me without Wasp and Pym.

Unless Marvel changes their plans, not soon
