Manual save is useful for me due to how can I save the progress anytime I want, before an important boss or battle, or to explore many options. Like in Fallout or Uncharted. But it comes with the risk of forgetting to save, losing and forced to begin from my latest save point, a risk I'm willing to take since I'm now used to save all the time. But I like autosave for the convenience, but sometimes I rather trade convenience for saving anywhere I want.

I guess I like manual save more.

i normally use manual saves, but there should be an auto save somewhere in the game as it helps if you forget to manually save and it has been a while since you did your save.
