Actually he was speaking hypotethically about a MMO in consoles being able to beat WOW ,he didnt say they were actually going to manage it .

I wonder if SOE could ever get the rights to make The World.
Considering Wow has a userbase almost as high as all PS3's, this is very unlikely.
That, and wow is a cultural phenomenon and has the brand power of Blizzard slapped on it. Overcoming WOW is no easy task.

OT- SOE must be getting high! There's no way any console with an MMO can beat WOW this gen. ACWii will do good as an MMO. (may be as popular as the Ds version and score 10 million.) But, I still doubt it will touch WOW's massive success!
WOW has had GTA type success! (maybe even more than that.)

I guess i did not consider that, thanks. Problem is there will never be more than a 20% share of PS3 owners playing any MMO on the console, some people just hate mmo's, there are over 100 mmo's on the PC's to pick from, that and all the major MMO players are already playing WOW or anouther great MMO on a PC why change to a PS3 to play 1 MMO.

well if they are talking about The Agency, there is a chance if done correctly since its for the PC and PS3.
