It's a toss up between Rocket League and Splatoon for me. Can't decide what gets the edge...
So far, it's a tie between Until Dawn and Dying Light.
Both games are great, but are so different from each other it is hard to compare them side by side.
Does Smite on Xbone count? That will probably be my vote until Fallout 4.
If it doesn't count, give me Witcher 3.
Until XCX comes out, I have no definitive answer.
Right now, I'm on the fence between Splatoon and MGSV.

Any game counts if it released this year.
Splatoon
Super Mario Maker is fighting for it too and can make me change my opinion in the future, but for now is Splatoon.
Still Witcher 3.
