Graphics are actually really impressive for a 3DS game (even though it is cel shaded).
Still the animations are top notch. Looks like if should have been on Wii U instead.
Honestly I am a little hyped if the gameplay is good.

My thoughts exactly. I feel it would be a better fit on Wii U.
But yes it would sell less and cost more to make....

That might be a good thing for Nintendo to maybe offer to fund making? Given the cel shaded stylized look it employes, it wouldn't be nearly as hard to port as the more realistic Monster Hunter (this is assuming you want the game to look good, not just be a shameless up-res :P )

Exactly it would be easy to do, and is something a lot of Vita games are doing; being ported to PS3/4.
But I would honestly rather the game be originally intended to release on Wii U as opposed to porting a handheld game.
