We always like to talk about whats next. Ps4 is already 2 years old, soon the talk will be about the ps5.

Well, I believe it will come by 2018, at most 2019, 7 year generation were an exception. I expect it to be even more media oriented and digital will get and even bigger push, but i dont think it will come whitout a disc reader.

With the NX not supossing a real threat for the PS4 domination, and Microsoft's behaviour of focusing more and more on PC gaming and digital distribution growing day by day, Sony can relax and enjoy several years of dominance with barely any efford. If everything stays the same, the PS5 could easily appear in 2020.

It's going to be a streaming service. Physical media will be dead.

Consoles are finished, will be none next gen. NX will be the last.

Please explain to me how that would be a good idea for Sony?

The ps4 is going to end up really cheap by that time, and haveing sold truck loads.

We're hearing it for quite a long time now and it never happened. I think the idea of cloud processing  replacing local processing is good for lighter applications, but for complex tasks, like games, it will never be good enough for cutting edge games.

Lol, we're talking About the ps5 at the start of the ps4s lifespan?!
