Forums - Gaming - Ninja Theory Retires "Vertical Slice" from Hellblade Showcased At Gamescom

- A vertical slice is a portion of a game which acts as a proof of concept for stakeholders before they agree to fund the rest. It is not the same thing as a prototype in that it is expected to look of final quality and play like the final game.

- Ninja Theory shared they had retired a vertical slice from the PS4/PC upcoming game.

Well, I do, but I'm sure there have been several reports about this already. This is like the 3rd time I see it confirmed. Anyway, good news.

I'm curious to see what else the game has to offer outside of the combat. Hoping for puzzles and some good platforming.

I really hope the changed the camera, or at least give you the option to change it.
