Game genie for the PS3 works wonderfully! Use it all the time...

There was one for the PS1--I think it was called Action Replay. Anyway, I owned it. You could do all kinds of crazy stuff like view hidden videos on ps1 games, watch am cutscenes, bring Aeris back to life in FFVII (but she had no dialog or anything). They also said it could let you play imported PS1 games. We were huge DBZ fans so we got Dragonball Z from this importer store but it never worked.

It was awesome for beating games (I used it to beat Vagrant Story and get all of the cards in Final Fantasy VIII triple triad) but it was the extra stuff that always intrigued me. I really miss those days.
