I'm getting kind of tired of people pushing their agendas onto muh hobbies without any real reason. Stan Lee hit the nail on the head.

They still happen though. This isn't a bigger deal than any other of the other changes they have made so far in my opinion. Besides, lots of people like the changes and some think they are necessary even.

Personally, I think seeing a character with that kind of international appeal, like spider-man, promoting openess and untraditional values to kids everywhere is a great thing. If done right of course. Make it a casual thing that happens during the movie and move on. What's the harm? 

While they put other characters into other character's mantles (Female Thor, Black Cap A etc), the actual characters, Thor Odinson and Steve Rogers, haven't changed at all (personality wise). Iceman was outted recently. But it wasn't Iceman we've read about for the last 50 years, it was his younger self brought from the future. Which in turn means the older one is outted according to some people. The story was horribly done as a coming out story (not kidding 2 pages with a telepath) and has basically retconned Iceman's 50 years of characterisation. 

They also retconned Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver recently, Magneto isn't their father.

And why shouldn't Batman be a robot alien? The time is now. Change someone else's creation to be what I think it should be.

Batman as a robot alien is a great idea. You're so awesome.

Good thing he ain't playing Spider-man anymore than. Leave Spidey alone!

Okay, that aside...

Don't you think this is depressing? All these sideshows meant to distract people from what's happening to our world...

And what is the problem in pushing friendly political agendas in popular movies that could help people world-wide?

Newsflash everyone, lots of movie makers make movies to engage the audience, test their audience moral limits, expose them to something unusual, bring new ideas to the table, etc

For once, your superhero would be doing something noble that could have a real world-wide impact and you are being anal about it. It's just sex , get over it lol.
