Sadly there is no physcial copy.  Sega is only localizing this as digital-only.

With the way Sega is handling this series I don't think there'll be a better chance to jump in.  Sega released HD remasters of Yakuza 1&2 just for the Wii U, which was odd since the fanbase and started with Sony I'd thought Sega would've at least made it multiplat for Wii U and PS3.

Not sure what features Yakuza 5 has, but if you get Yakuza 4, at the menu there's a video summary feature of each previous Yakuza game to bring you up to speed with the storyline.

Didn't know that, well I get it digial eventually then even if I miss out on the $33.99 price.  I have the phyical copy of 3 and Dead Souls and 4 digital (PSN+ version).  Gonna be super busy with Forza 6 soon for at least a couple of month so I'm in no rush to play it.

Well I can see our priorities are different because I will stop whatever game I'd be currently playing to play Yakuza 5 when it comes out lol =P

1 & 2 HD are available on the PS3 also but only in Japan it even has a physical copy.  Maybe if 4 sells well it will  get localized eventuall also.

Well what is the exact release date for it anyway if its late October I will more then likely be done with Forza 6 being my main game.  

Actually there is no official release date, just sometime 2015.  So it can possibly be at the very end of this year.  So yea you'd probably be done playing Forza way before it'll come out lol

More then likely I will probably be done with the career mode by the end of September after that I will more then likely spend most of my time just doing races in free play mode unless I really like the online races more then I did in 5.  It would be nice if you could pre install Yakuza 5 already.

i hope the release is at the end september. but i think: october.

If it would be September they would have announced to release date already and they would also have the trophie list for it already.
