Forums - Sony - Found a 64GB PS VITA memory card on Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F27JGVA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00

I bought one for $88.00 with free shipping. It's import from Japan and it seems crazy cheap for 64GB. All Vita memory cards work with all Vita systems, so no worries there.

If anyone is interested, the link is up there.

Thanks!

People are just noticing this? The 64GB cards on Amazon have been hovering between $80 and $90 for months now, and depending on how quickly you want it, there are plenty of sellers that have stock in the US for faster shipping to a lot of places.

It's an awful deal in terms of general memory, but for Vita memory cards, I wouldn't hold my breath on it dipping much lower.

It's just not "officially" released in the West.

I got mine from Amazon a while ago for like $75.

Because when the Vita launched, it was priced in a way that Sony was going to end up taking a loss on each system. They made up for it with absurdly priced memory cards. Despite the fact that we all know production costs have dipped probably quite a bit the past few years, we have not seen that shift in production cost affect the price of memory cards. Most Vita owners have just accepted this is the way of things and either make do with a piddly 8GB like I do, or dive in and buy a 32GB or 64GB card for the convenience.
