This forum has become hilarious for the double standards expressed on things though. Meta is relevant when it supports your argument but nonsense/evil bias reviewers when it doesn't.

For some reason, many people are incapable of fathoming that meta rating and personal enjoyment of a title are in no way directed. Comes down to the whole one man's treasure is another man's muck.

Come on people, play the god damn games before forming opinions on them and mouthing it off as fact!

Well I'm definitely enjoying it. Sure it's a bit rough, and doesn't really master anything in particular, but I'm having fun.
Imo 2s, 3s, and 4s should be used when a game is getting towards unplayable, maybe on later levels it falls apart....
Need to get online and give the multiplayer a go.

So it seems that miiverse fans were the only ones enjoying the game given the sales. Hopefully shows how miiverse in general is a very supportive community with regards to almost anything. Miiverse should really not be a counterpoint to critic dissapproval of games.

And looking at mario maker's recent scores, the reviewers aren't really just out to hurt Nintendo

You can find bunch of negative comments about DT in miiverse if you want. Itagaki-san was right - some people just don't play it correctly. They can't dodge properly, switch between melee and firearms, ignore the tips that appears on loading screens, etc.
