Following its release in Japan in 2012, open-world, crime-themed action game Yakuza 5 launches in North America later this year. While Sega has yet to reveal an official release date, the publisher on Tuesday announced that preorders for the PlayStation 3 game have opened through the PlayStation Network.

Yakuza 5 will cost $40, and everyone who preorders will save 15 percent, bringing the price down to $34. In addition, people who preorder will receive a "Fulfiller of Dreams" static theme (see it below).

Hmm, all this really makes me think all preorders should be 10% off.
