Personally, I am glad to see it doing well. I never found WoW particularly fun, but FFXIV had a certain charm to it that made me enjoy it much more than most MMOs.

I remember picking up the game for $5 when it flopped, god did it improve drastically with ARR. What an amazing turnaround.

This is where I actually made my account, still the client says my account is not registered, and when I try to register the code from the box here in mogstation, the codes from the box have different format, my code has the XXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXX-XXX format compared to the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format mogstation has.

FF14 is the best mmo for me, since a long time.

There aren't even 1m subs in XIV currently, this is a meaningless PR figure.

oh shiz dood. limme see that source. I've been hearing that for a year and a half now. Otherwise that was a meaningless downplay figure.

We dont know how many subs, because SE never release that data. The only thing that we know this year is that SE got more total revenue, +5M registered users, and FF14 ARR is the main reason about the increase of that revenue. We don't know about china, but let me tell you this, they can handle that info in whatever way they want.

Great game, a lot of well done fan service for FF plans. I played only for a month, than had to stop because neither me or my friends have the time anymore.

But if i had to pick an MMORPG, it would be either FFXIV or Dofus

What did you buy, FFXIV Heavensward or FFXIV A Realm Reborn?

The Complete Experience bundle, I'm guessing that I'd still need the disc to play this?
