The big question now is when will it finally overtake WoW (which has seen a rapid drop and now stands at about 7 million users.)
Personally, I am glad to see it doing well. I never found WoW particularly fun, but FFXIV had a certain charm to it that made me enjoy it much more than most MMOs.
