I think the biggest letdown ever was Final Fantasy 12. I can not begin to describe my disappointment. By the time I got to the desert, I was just pissed off.

Well everyone already knows my answer but I will say it anyway. Final Fantasy VII. I was more disappointed by it than finding out that there was no Santa Claus.

I'm not really sure of my biggest dissapointment in gaming, I could agree with the downfall of Sega though.

Actually come to think of it, it'd be gamers themselves and the way gaming is now more about graphics and multimedia than the gaming itself.

Assassin's creed. The ending is boring as hell (gameplay) Oh yeah and Variety doesn't hurt sometimes... COUGHfetchingquestCOUGH

Another big disapointment is, IMO, the fact that ps2 sold 6 times more than NGC and Xbox. Seriously....wth

that Sega was forced out of hardware market. I thought it was a sad day the day that happened.

Maybe I am weird but it doesn't sit well that Sega has Sonic on its once mortal enemies console.

I remember in the 16bit era the Barbs between Sega and Nintendo and Sega and Nintendo fanboys was quite entertaining.

The worst....

SEGA!!! WHY SEGA!!?? WHY!!?? I loved u man. I loved u, and now your gone IT CANT BE, WHY!!??

Final Fantasy VII: After the extremely rich and beautiful FF VI, FF VII was a chore. Extremely clichéd characters, horrible visual design, lame story and SNES-era like music ruined it all for me.

Other mentions: post-98 KoFs, Daikatana, Doom 3, Quake 4, UT3, death of the DC... the list is long...

my first word was playstation...the funny thing is playstation one didn't come out for another 2 years after I was born. I guess I could tell the future.

OT: Another big disappointment was the Sims 2. The Sims 1 was so much better. Same with Roller Coaster Tycoon, 1 was better than 2.
