Forums - Gaming - Are any of you finding it as hard to find Legend of Kay on the PS4 as it is on the Wii U?

Legend of Kay is a remaster nobody asked for. Of course it's hard to find.

I wasn't even looking for it so...

You can probably get it digitally

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I wasn't going to get it, but it's available on Amazon Canada.

So no it's not hard to find in my country.

I got it off Amazon so I would expect it to be almost non existent in stores. I started the game on the hardest difficulty and completely regret it. I'm a little over 66% through it and the game gets insanely difficult on 1 level. It's apparently the hardest level in the game and I got no health potions and no vendor to buy from on the level. It's pretty much broken and I regret starting on that difficulty.

I saw it in my local shop just yesterday. I didn't know what it was, was there to buy Splatoon. But it was available for WiiU, PS4 and X1.

Kay is not available for X1... ^

I haven't been to any stores lately, but I've browsed Target's and Walmart's online sites, and they don't carry it. Only Amazon it seems...

Doesn't surprise me with a game like this. They know it's not gonna be a massive seller either way. The people who want it can find it online easy enough.

How many of them HAVE been asked for exactly? GTA, Last of Us, Uncharted.......hmmmm

I'm surprised how many copies I've seen actually, for both PS4 and WiiU. Considering it sold next to nothing in the UK (didn't chart in either PS4 or WiiU top 20's during launch week).

Wouldn't the low sales be the reason why you've seen so many copies on shelves?

It's a game that failed to sell on both PS2 and DS.  I don't understand why retailers ordered more than a handful of copies (but there's at least two copies sitting in my local GAME, and a couple more in Grainger Games).

I went looking for the Wii U version at my local Best Buy and GameStop but didn't find it so I just bought it off Amazon. I mean, even though the visuals have been improved, it's still very much a game of it's time. I managed to beat it yesterday. The final battle was pretty cool I thought. Overall yeah it's far from great but I'm still glad I got it. Especially with the dearth of new Wii U games at the moment.
