metroid prime 1 for the gamecube i love that game

I've beaten Metroid on the NES several times and I don't know why. I actually hate the game. I prefer Kid Icarus any day of the week.

I absolutely love Metroid Prime 3.

I've played about 15 minutes each of Metroid II: The Return of Samus, Super Metroid, and Metroid Prime 1, and really enjoyed them all.

So far my favorite would be Prime 3, but Metroid II and Super Metroid were pretty badass too.

2-D : Zero Mission
3-D : Prime 3

Overall, it's Zero Mission.

Prime is one of my favorite games ever, the second Prime is nearly as good, and Super was awesome...

I hated the bit of fusion I played... took all the mysteriousness out of Samus's character and it was WAYYYYY too linear.

Prime 3 tried to hard to be a generic FPS game, and took out a lot of what makes Prime (and the old metroids) great.

Metroid Prime is my favorite. It was the first Metroid I played.

Super Metroid, and if you disagree you are WRONG!

Super Metroid of SNES is the best and the unique game of this serie that I like.

Metroid Prime...it was the first Metroid game I played! I liked Fusion as well, but not as much as Prime.

Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 1 are the best in my opinion.

I've never played Zero Mission or Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Metroid 1 was good, but Super Metroid did everything better. Metroid 2 was confusing as hell and I never actually beat the game. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption had horrible controls. I also didn't like how they tried making Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid: Fusion more story heavy.
