What the crap is wrong with Sony for placing the PS3 at about $800 USD and $700 USD in different locations. I know Europeans pay more for their consoles, but I just think that this is overkill.

What is the VAT rate for an electronics system like this? It will vary normal 17.5% upto 33% for cars. So that is at least $700USD to $800USD for the VAT added in for the 60GB.
