I couldn't figure out how to get the feather though. I tried launching a shell over the trampoline blocks yet it never activates the hidden block that releases the feather no matter how I launch the shell or how it bounces around. I can get on the left trampoline block 1 out of 10 attempts via the trampolines with just enough momentum to jump from the very right edge of the pipe. Yet I can't grab the feather without dying or losing the feather straight away. Probably another 1 in 10 attempts to get out of there lol. Without the feather the jump to the bill blaster area becomes a pixel perfect jump although I also managed  to lure the squid in the right position to use as a jump in between. Without the extra p-switch the timing is very tight to get to the star, at least for me. It's probably better to get that part down fast though, Bowser's fire gets me before I reach the star if I take my time with an extra switch.

I'll give it another go tonight, I know I can do all the components seperately (with a lot of attempts). It just depends on if my gamepad survives that long :)

That's how I intended it to be done, lol.

Yep, I've done that many times. The shell simply bounces around a couple times, then flies out on the top and goes back to the lower area. I pick it back up and throw it again, same result. The block won't activate no matter where I launch I from the pipe. Maybe you give it some momentum? I'm not sure if I've tried releasing it while jumping forward.
I was taking the second p-switch since I ran out of time drilling through the blocks, being too careful dropping down to the lower door.

Thanks for the tips, seeing it can be done is usually half the work :) At least I was on the right path.

Meanwhile I was dumb enough to start the 100 mario challenge on expert. Based on the parade of levels I saw there I would rate this game 3/10 at most. I much rather bang my head on your levels for hours than play that random crap lol. Too bad you don't unlock anything for being the first to clear a level or clearing a hard level. I guess it could easily be abused, but the 100 Mario challenge is the worst game design for a game like this.

Thanks svenno!

I think I have it all now. Been playing since launch.

What about the wobbly vision?

That's the alternate mode of the telephone sound effect. Shake it.

You need to give it just a little momentum.  Tap forward just a little, and go back once you've released the shell and it will likely work.  I know it's not too easy, which is why I supplied the spawning green koopas.

I find it very interesting that there are people out there that manage to fail an automatic level... :-|

It´s because they don´t understand is an automatic level and they try to jump or do other stuff

I'm making a new level, the visual design has taken up most time so far, but I think I nailed the theme. Now just executing (hehe) the ideas that are in my head.

All I'm saying is that it has Yoshi in it. If you thought my last level was cruel to him (her?) you just wait. :)

Oh and it's not puzzle orientated this time. Or at least I'm not planning there to be any.

Was able to get my universe level played on Twitch! It starts at 1:47:33 in the time stamp. Link: http://www.twitch.tv/retrowyze/v/17805338

Here is my new one. Hint: over the first flame thrower is a hidden pound block, then go back down and find the hidden pounds to make it across the rest of the coin bridges.

I decided to take a break from MDMAlliance's hardcore levels and beat all of yours :) Can't say it was any easier lol. Seems a common theme in your levels is to mislead and confuse the player. Plus some of them look like memory corruption lol.
That level you posted above, yeah screw the p-switch. I used your hidden backdoor involving yoshi and shortcut straight to the exit. Same with Ghost house and Your gonna die. Caestel Mayhem was the most difficult and I'm not sure if I found the most efficient path. In the end I settled on making it forward to the star shooting bill launcher. Grab the star, go back to the door linking to the upper left, grab another star and run to the right to the door over spikes that ends up right behind the exit.
It was fun to find the right path, nice set of meta levels to be solved in the editor. Now can you upload any of those without the built in shortcuts ;)

My new level is done. It's called "The Yoshi Sacrificial Pit". Hope you like it.

I also tried to missdirect so that people would steer clear of the doors and not try to look for anymore. How did you beat the flying block one?

You can download every level and check them out in the editor ;) Not that hard to backtrack from the finish that way and find your 'secret' doors and blocks. You tricked me the first time with pound those coins which I decided to load in the editor to practice. There I noticed the shortcut. So when I did the Ghost house flying box one I didn't wait to long before checking if you had a similar exploit, so I went along the top. I got close the normal way yet all those fire bars and barking dogs are impossible.
Or do you mean you're going to die with the flying ? block at the start? I stole the cloud there to fly to the door that connects to just before the bridge.

How did you make those busy levels btw? Randomly pound on the screen then add a path :)
