That's what I thought! But yeah, probably Youtube or blogs or something.

When they have thousands they are usually famous people, some of them are good though I like andre and boogie levles, but I have seen a bunch of levels of non-famous people with 300 or 500 stars, wich are 4 medals in one level.

This is a good example:

(*)

335 Stars

Or this one that has 100 and is pretty cool too

(*)

So it is possible to have a lot of stars with a level being a nobody.
It seems impossible to make very hard level and have many stars if you are not famous though, light levels have way more stars usually, those 2 are not very hard by instance.

There are a lucky few yes. I've noticed a lot of the high scoring levels are automatic. Even though I don't really like those, I could of course, always, experiment ...

Thanks, I assume you can ride shells too with spin attack? I've never tried it but I'll give it a go. Tonight it's time to play levels again.
I uploaded my new level, it's all about puzzles.

Puzzled mansion 99FC-0000-006A-1F2A

The danger level is pretty low yet it will be tough to beat within the time limit on the first attempt. (can't go over 500 unfortunately) Once you know what to do it's pretty fast to repeat the puzzles to have more time for the final one. There are 5 stages, starting off easy, then increasing in complexity with the last puzzle involving many elements and multiple paths to take. I've managed to keep the chance element to a minimum and make the stages pretty robust, yet if you still manage to screw something up you can always reset a stage by going back through the entrance door. (Just don't accidentally blow up the bridge in stage 2, that doesn't reset)

This was quite a puzzle to make, ran out of doors, transit pipes and even blocks. I hope it's as fun to play as it was to build.

My first full level that takes up the whole horizontal space! Can you beat it with Yoshi though?

Added some comments to let you know when the mid point is as well.

Basic P switch puzzle

Two mini bosses and Bowser

Yoshi

Skull-er coaster rides

Lava Fish acting like Lava monster in Mario World

Scary go 'round Boos

Fun visual and audio effects.

By the way, you can enter your Mario Maker levels into a snazzy web base site called  Mario Maker hub.

I recently uploaded a new level.  As I put in my title, I tried some new things to keep things as fresh as I could.

I tried not to make it too difficult, but I kind of ended up feeling like I didn't want to make it too easy either... Here it is, though:

Oh and can more people try my Yoshi level please? So far only vgchartz users have been able to beat it lol... Seems like you guys are smarter than the average SMM owner.

Yoshi's epic yarn was great, not too difficult although the shell getting stuck against the p-switch gave me a bit of trouble. I didn't know you could keep jump pressed and bounce of a p-switch as well. Of course the wizard still got me, then climbing down the vines out of the screen apparently thinking I was playing a different kind of game lol. Fun level to replay anyway.

Bowsy's garden was fun too except I got stuck in the final screen. Don't jump up!

Been busy yesterday and today and it's ready to be uploaded. Because I feel the Super Mario Bros. 3 style has the best esthetics, my third level is a return to this style;

"The Chimneys of Mushroom Factory"

ID: 1CBD 0000 0068 F4E2, or, look it up in my list of levels, I've found that to be a lot easier with all your levels .

Now. Off to play some of yours again!

Great level, enjoyed it despite the occasional unfair death. Not your fault, I wish the screen would pan a bit ahead or zoom out a little. When you're designing a level you know what's coming, when you're playing you practically have blinders on. I like your first level as well, yet I must have missed a big section in the clown car one. It looks a lot bigger in the preview while I hardly spend 10 sec flying to the pipe.

Fun levels! Much better than doing the 100 Mario challenge, I guess easy really means easy, yet I didn't want to do 16 random levels in 1 go. Playing the 100 Mario challenge on easy gives you the idea all levels are either crap or play themselves.

My recreation of Cavestory's infamous last cave. Decided to censor the name though!

Features:

Power ups:

Cape, Fire Flower, Yoshi

Notable Enemies:

Big Thwomp, Thowmp, Green Koopa with wings, Fat Hammer Bros, Fire Piranha, Bob-ombs

Puzzles:

P - switches, Bob-ombs, and Cape spinning

Disclaimer: This level doesn't cover the final boss in CaveStory. Everything else took me a while already and it feels complete as it is anyway.
