When I think of Mafia, I think of this

Not this

Not buying it.

You do realise the Italian mafia is still in the game right? That's who they're fighting.

Though its your loss if you don't want to buy it.

I am buying this game for sure. Who gives a damn about the color of the main character.
Maybe they should publish "Mafia III - Racist Edition" with exclusive character editor so they can go just two shades whiter than now to get the typical Italian mobster, change his name from Antwan to Tony and they're set.

mafia 2 was'nt bad,but it really lacked variety for an open world game. it was pretty linear for an open world setting. I just hope mafia 3 changes that. that's the only issue I'd have with this game.

On the more serious note, I completely understand why so many people are pissed - Mafia was story about Italian Mafia, in M3 you're supposed to fight them from the get-go. For me that's as silly as having GTA where you play as cop.

As I said, it would be much better (and IMO, way more interesting) if they've placed it in Las Vegas during 60s, but, as with so many other publishers these days, it seems that pissing off your original fan base is in.

Who the hell cares what skin colour the main character has? That's NOT the important part!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I don't think that most complains are about that anyway, but the fact that game, from what was shown, feels nothing like previous Mafia games, plus you play against Mafia - which, as I said already, would be as silly as Rockstar making GTA wher you play as a cop.

As a big fan of Mafia 1 (and to some degree Mafia 2), I do have a lot to say, from what I've seen so far, against this game, color of main protagonist being least of my concerns.

Not really. Mafia= organized crime, it doesn't mean Italian mob. You gonna be playing as one crime, against another one.

Mafioso doesn't mean bad guy any away in Sicily
