And since the game is still selling above 10k each week even after the bundle got announced, I'd say 1.1 millions are pretty possible by the end of the year, maybe even 1.2 if it sells well during the holidays.

Doubtful, I love Splatoon, but a new IP vs Final Fantasy... I just seriously doubt it.

In most cases sure but YW and Splatoon beats the odds. And last gen plenty of new IPs outsold ff :p

Well, I can tell you the only reason I'll own XV is because I'm getting it for free. I don't really care about it.

Appropriate to bump the thread now! Well FFXV is still not out, Splatoon has done better than anyone imagine before Sept/Oct.

WiiU bundle unfortunately sold out but it wasnt mass bundled (so splatoon sales from bundling between 60k-120k?).

That said we are over 1.15mil (MC and if the game sold at least 70k this week) with no momentum of slowing down.

Splatoon will be no less than 1.5mil lifetime, it depends on how much FFXV performs now!!!

I don't know as Japan's market has shifted so even a Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy will struggle to match old entries numbers. Really shows how successful Splatoon has been there in this climate.

Both should still do extremely well. That said, Splatoon success is a phenomenon
