Why not just make it into a videogame? Both the short book and the movie are perfect material to put into a videogame.

I love the original. I hope its not just a straight up remake. The fun of watching it for the first time is not knowing what will show up.

I feel like this could back fire on them.
Not sure how much better a reboot could be.
Well they could change the sabre cat into a T-Rex or Dragon.
I think it might be the next Pirates of the Carribean/Journey to the Center of the earth/flying House series if they could really have compelling characters with good scripts.
