It's always interesting to see the hype for all(well most) things Platinum on gaming forums because it's in such a stark contrast to the real world. How many of their games have you guys played anyway? I played 2 Bayonetta and Vanquish.

The CGI trailer was intresting.... waiting for real gameplay footage before judgeing it.

Bayonetta, Ôkami, Vanquish and MGR:R

and had a pretty good (although sometimes frustrating) time overall

Ôkami on PS2 had super annoying load times and that pseudo-language gets so fucking tiring to listen to after the first 30 minutes of thinking "aww this is pretty cute" though, I had much more fun with the HD remaster I got through PS+

Okami was made by a team that's now part of Platinumgames I presume?

Platinum are such an awesome studio, their games are just so poorly advertised (I don't believe they are selling at their potential even with considering their sometimes limited appeal).

If you count "Clover Studio", then yeah Okami as well.

ah yea right, clover studio dissolved after they failed to be as successful as other capcom studios and most of it's members afaik founded Platinum

I have been wanting to see more of this game for such a long time. Hopefully it does not disappoint.
