Actually multiple rickrolls were done during the Feb 12 protests.

How long have you considered yourself Anon ssj? Do you visit 4chan, 7chan, anonib or any of the sites which anonymous exists on? They do things because they think its funny. The people who caught Chris Forcand would probably have been doing that for their amusement as well.

All these protests are really is a real life version of their 'raids', they did the same thing online to Habbo Hotel for the lulz as well. All making nigra avatars and saying "The pools closed, due to aids" and making swastikas.

I really don't think you know about Anonymous if you think they exist for the good of humanity, they exist to entertain themselves.

 

I don't know why you are so ardent about laying claim to being 'Anonymous' anyway, considering that you are not posting here anonymously. = 


 i've been to 4chan a few times and 7chan.

I have been since January.

And does it matter if i post as anonymous or not? Its an online screen name.  It's not like I hand out my name at the top of a hat. 

I am apart of the new generation of anon just like most of the people that go to the protests and all that. Just because the old generation might enjoy screwing with companies and websites, who cares, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.

Plus the lulz make protesting more entertaining and all the protests are called raids =P

Entertaining oneself while doing some good in the world is always good.

 I just find it odd that people like SSJ are claiming to be Anonymous. For starters, why would you? They are hardly a group that you can be proud of.

I don't understand why people try to pick up on all of Anonymous' memes and say they are anonymous, if you support what they are doing against the CoS good for you, so do I, but it doesn't make you anonymous and it certainly isn't defining of what anonymous is.

I'm pretty sure it took me like... all of a few minutes to find out your real name.

It might not be... but it points in that direction.  You were the guy that helped work with PSU right?

fine, to be frank I'm apart of anon because a few hackers from anon helped my old anime site out. I was hacked before and they hacked the hacker back. lol

It's not like Anonymous has initiation rites or anything. It's not even really an organized network. It's a big amorphous blob of internet people. Some are in it for the lulz. Some are insane. Some are awesome. Some are hackers on steroids. But together, sometimes they do stupid shit and sometimes they do awesome shit. It's almost like an internet Project Mayhem.

But right now, if they're getting attention for attacking something evil, I hope they get a million times bigger. I've been preaching against the evils of Scientology for years. Some of my friends were converted and are basically zombies now.


Anyway, these protests kick ass. I'm definitely making the next one. The protest in February got one woman to quit the church. She wants her life back. She's totally fucked, because the church will use her own confessions against her in court, and will try to turn any friends or family (old or new) against her. But Anonymous gave her hope! There's a bunch of great web sites, that all constitute this group called The Free Zone, which is a bunch of people who practice Scientology outside of Co$ and RTC. It's good stuff. I mean... if you're into the "tech" and space opera whatnot.

 I think its pretty obvious that he saw some stories about it on digg and thought it would be cool if he could identify with them.
