Aerial Sprint Results
Welcome back Pokémon Olympic fans, the third event of this competition, the Aerial Sprint, is about to begin. This race is filled to the brim with fast and powerful flying Pokémon and there is no telling which competitor will take the gold for their team. All the athletes are now resting on the high ledge and are now preparing to fly. Now, representing team Generation 1, we gave Pidgeot and Aerodactyl! Representing team Generation 2, we have Crobat and Skarmory! Representing team Generation 3, we have Latios and Swellow! Representing team generation 4 we have Staraptor and Gliscor! Representing team Generation 5 we have Archeops and Braviary! Last but not least, representing team Generation 6, we have Talonflame and Noivern!
The Athletes are now under starting orders. On your marks! Get set! Bang! The race had begun and Latios was the first one to jump off the platform and begin flying as fast as he could towards the finish line. Right on his tail was Crobat, Pidgeot and Talonflame who all had amazing starts. Staraptor quickly sped up closing the gap between him and the others at the start and Noivern was right there as well. Latios was ahead by a hair and right behind him was Noivern and Staraptor not only that but they were neck and neck with Pidgeot, Crobat and Talonflame. The race had only began but there competitors were jumbled up together flying as hard as they could quickly separating themselves from the other competitors and sprinting hard for the line. In the pack that was being left behind Swellow was barely ahead of Aerodactyl and Archeops and Gliscor. The three of them were neck and neck. Gliscor used his tail to spring out at the start which gave him a good start however that might have been it as Aerodactyle and Archeops quickly caught up to him and the three were neck and neck. Behind them was Braviary who was a bit slow on the start but starting to pick up speed and Skarmory who was in dead last and had barely gotten airborne.
Latios pushed hard, it wanted one thing and that was to reach the finish line first. He could feel the other competitors right behind him and so he started flying even faster and harder attempting to pull away, Staraptor and Noivern weren’t going to let him go or the other one get the advantage so they pushed hard as well fighting neck and neck. Talonflame was right behind them followed by Pidgeot and Crobat. Talonflame boosted up hard passing Staraptor while Noivern continued to fight hard against Latios who was still very close but it was clear that he was starting to establish a gap. Generation 3’s Latios was leading but both of Generation 6’s competitors were right behind him. Crobat unleashed a burst of speed passing Pidgeot taking the 5th position for himself not only that but he caught up to Staraptor who had fallen from the top 3. This was a simple reminder to Staraptor that the top 6 places were very close to each other and one false move could land him from medal position to sixth place.
Swellow who was in 7th was sprinting hard, he was clearly building a gap between him and 8th place while the distance between him and 6th almost constantly remained the same. He was moving almost as fast as the lead pack but his terrible start didn’t do him any favours. Behind him, Archeops and Aerodactyl were still sprinting it out while Braviary who was a strong flyer was having trouble keeping both Skarmory and Gliscor at bay. At every end of the spectrum in this race two or more competitors were neck and neck trying to pass the other it was truly a race for the ages.
Latios once again pushed hard and this time it worked. He began pulling away from Noivern and the other competitors that were on his trail and it wasn’t good news for Noivern as the sight of Latios getting smaller in his view caused him to lose focus and slip up, and both Talonflame and Staraptor capitalized and sprinted ahead of him of course Staraptor himself fell back a little as talonflame once again pulled ahead into second. Crobat had begun to put distance between him and Pidgeot and was challenging Staraptor and Noivern for third place. If he could hold on to this position was all he could think about but that thought didn’t last very long as Pidgeot began to fly hard catching up to him while Noivern and the others at the front did the same. They were neck and neck constantly trading positions as the finish line approached.
Swellow was also flying faster and faster he was trying his best to catch up to the others and while he was managing to close the gap little by little the gap was already fairly huge. Aeordactyl was also right behind him he had hit a burst of speed and Swellow knew if this kept up Aeordactyl would pass him. Gliscor was falling behind and Skarmory had a boost of speed allowing it to catch up with Braviary, Archeops and Gliscor. Those 4 were fighting to make sure they didn’t come last.
Latois flew passed the line earning himself 1st Position however the race behind him was still going strong with everyone being neck and neck or so it was until Talonflame pulled ahead and rushed towards the finish line he was just ahead of both Noivern and Staraptor who were making their moves and right behind them were Pidgeot and Crobat. They were racing hard and Talonflame quickly took 2nd. Noivern and Staraptor were neck and neck and they pushed harder and harder until they crossed the line at the exact same time. Pidgeot and Crobat were right behind them and both were pushing their wings to the limit however Pidgeot did one last push and managed to beat crobat. Swellow who was flying by himself at this point finished a comfortable 7th and Aerodactyl who was in a similar position finished with a comfortable 8th.
Braviary had managed to pull ahead of Gliscor, archeops and Skarmory and pushed himself into a good 9th place finish. However Gliscor, Archeops and Skarmory were fighting hard. None of them wanted to be the guy who came last. So they pushed and pushed towards the line. Skarmory fell back and Gliscor and Archeops came in hard with archeops narrowly edging out Gliscor for 10th with Skarmory finishing in last position.

Run Marahton Results:
Welcome back sports fans, the fourth event of the Pokémon Olympics the Run Marathon is now about to begin. Unlike the last 3 events we’ve had marathons are completely different. While speed is very important to them the main factor is being able to pace yourself and knowing your endurance level. The Athletes are now in position. Representing team Generation 1, we have Arcanine and Rapidash! Representing team Generation 2 we have Furret and Umbreon! Representing team Generation 3 we have Manetric and Vigoroth! Representing team Generation 4 we have, Lucario and Luxray! Representing team Generation 5 we have Zoroark and Keldeo! Representing team Generation 6 we have Gogoat and Heliolisk.
On your mark! Get set! Bang! The athletes are off! Quickly taking the lead was Manetric followed by Keldeo and Zoroark with Arcanine and Rapidash fairly close behind them. Furret and Umbreon were off to terrible starts with umbreon starting dead last, however this was a marathon and not a sprint so they had plenty of time to catch up. As the athletes got into their stride Zoroark and Arcanine passed Manetric and were running side by side for the lead. Behind them were Rapidash, Manetric and Gogoat who were all running side by side, Lucario and Keldeo were also running side by side next to each other. Umbreon who was still in the back had now caught up to its partner and was proceeding to increase its pace.
Arcanine increased its pace quickly leaving Zoroark behind but he wasn’t the only one increasing his pace. Gogoat was right behind him and was Rapidash using its long legs to keep close to the top 2 competitors. Arcanine was now at a steady pace and was slowly extending its lead over gogoat who was doing the same to Rapidash however Gogoat began moving faster and began moving at a higher pace than Arcanine slowly closing the gap between the two of them with Rapidash in a steady third. The gap was growing between these 3 leaders and the other athletes. Vigoroth was now using its insane endurance and was now facing off with Lucario and Manetric who vying for the fourth place spot. Manetric had started off very strong but wasn’t able to keep up its initial burst of speed. Vigoroth started off slow but then began to move faster to catch up while Lucario had been running a fairly steady pace from the start. All 3 of these competitors were running together even though it looked like at any moment Vigoroth and Lucario would leave manetric behind due to how they had caught up on the Pokémon. Behind them was Zoroark who was slipping further and further back after a good start followed by Umbreon and Keldeo. Umbreon had now been slowing catching up and passing the competitors in the back however his partner, furret was stuck bringing up the rear though it was starting to catch up to Heliolisk who was already tired.
Arcanine was running alone in front, or so he thought until he saw Gogoat right next to him. The shock on arcanine’s face was reflected on to his performance as he stumbled allowing Gogoat to easily go ahead and begin to build a distance between them. This is exactly what Gogoat wanted as in a race of pure speed that would happen for the line, arcanine would surely be tough to beat if he was ahead. Raapidash was now in a completely steady 3rd. No one was close behind him and the two leaders while they were still in his sights were also fairly far ahead. The race for 4th was still the same however. Manetric increased its pace and was now running on par with the other 2 and maintaining a slight lead over them. Vigoroth and Lucario were both neck and neck and Manetric was jumbled up with them as they ran trying to snag the 4th place position. Umbreon had now caught up to and passed zoroark and now had its eyes on the three Pokémon fighting for 4th place. Zoroark was right behind him but slipping back further and further. Keldeo Luxray followed with Heliolisk and Furrent bringing up the rear with furret continuing to close the gap between them.
Gogoat was running away with the competition and Arcanine was still trying to catch its stride. It was now back at its pace but the stumble had left him a good distance away from gogoat. Rapidash continued well in third. Gogoat however still continued to extend his lead until Arcanine stepped it up again and began closing the gap. Manetric had now increased its speed and had taken its 4th place position back to a comfortable place. Lucario continued to run steady and was in 5th as Vigoroth suffered a major drop back. This was exactly what Umbreon was waiting on as it quickly passed Vigoroth and took 6th place. Luxray was also gaining on Vigoroth but that was because he and Keldeo were racing hard against each other for the final event point spot. Zoroark was falling behind even more now as he was in 10th now right behind the two. With Heliolisk and Furret now neck and neck in the back.
The Race had now entered its final stage. Gogoat was sprinting as hard as he could to the line he was first but he knew he needed to go harder because he kept hearing the steps of Arcanine who had now come running as hard as he could closing the gap between them. Gogoat was sweating but kept pushing Arcanine was definitely faster but he had more endurance and he had used that to get ahead early on right now he just needed to hold him off a tiny bit longer until he had crossed the line. Arcanine knew this and stepped it up even more! The two Pokémon were almost neck and neck and the line was right there. Arcanine was closing the gap more and more sprinting until he reached his limit which allowed gogoat to snag 1st place forcing him to settle for 2nd. Rapidash came up not too far behind them sprinting to the line and easily picked up the 3rd position. Manetric who had increased his lead now began sprinting towards the line. Lucario was sprinting as well to attempt to catch up and behind him was umbreon sprinting hoping to catch him as well, however, Manetric easily was the fastest and didn’t give Lucario a chance to catch up and took the 4th spot. Lucario knowing Umbreon was behind him pushed himself harder and took the 5th spot with Umbreon who had started off in 11th taking the 6th spot.
Vigoroth was running as hard as he could and he had no choice as right on his tail was Keldeo and Luxray! If both Pokémon passed him he wouldn’t gain any event points for his team and he wanted to ensure that his team who was currently leading in every category continued to lead in event points. Luxray pushed harder and was now neck and neck with Vigoroth and Keldeo was simply a small distance behind them two of them as they crossed the line. Vigoroth had managed to have one last spurt however it wasn't enough. Luxray unleashed all of its speed and left Vigoroth behind right before the line and Keldeo wasn't done yet Keldeo also did the same and managed to edge out Vigoroth for the 8th place. It was something gen 5 had never done before, it was their first event point! Zoroark came in 10th and the first thing he did was run forward and hug Keldeo. They were finally on the board.
The last two competitors were neck and neck as they approached the line however, it had already been some time since the previous competitors had crossed. Furret had managed to pass Heliolisk however they were both neck and neck. It was very close but furret managed to beat heliolisk right at the end.
1st Place: Gogoat - 154 Points - Gold Medal
2nd Place: Arcanine - 149 Points - Silver Medal
3rd Place:Rapidash - 138 Points - Bronze Medal
4th Place: Manetric - 105 Points
5th Place: Lucario - 95 Points
6th Place: Umbreon - 90 Points
7th Place: Luxray - 80 Points
8th Place: Keldeo - 74 Points
9th Place: Vigoroth - 73 Points
10th Place: Zoroark - 65 Points
11th Place: Furret - 36 points
12th Place: Heliolisk - 33 Points.

Aerial Marathon Results
Welcome back sports fans, the fifth event of the Pokémon Olympics the Aerial Marathon is now about to begin. As you’ve seen with the last event this is all about a Pokémon’s endurance and the ability to pace themselves. The teams have now sent their racers to the starting line. Representing team Generation 1, we have Aerodactyl and Dragonite! Representing team Generation 2, we have Crobat and Lugia! Representing team Generation 3, we have Flygon and Salamence! Representing team Generation 4, we have Staraptor and Gliscor! Representing team Generation 5, we have Braviary and Hydreigon! Representing team Generation 6, we have Talonflame and Noivern!
The athletes are now under starting orders. On your marks! Get set! Bang! The race began swiftly as flygon, Noivern and Dragonite flew out starting out quickly. On the other side of the spectrum Hydreigon, Talonflame and Gliscor who were all off to a bad start. Dragonite quickly pulled ahead as both Noivern and flygon had begun to fall behind. Staraptor and Braviary were flying together neck and neck and had flown past the pack to now be tied for 2nd, behind them was Noivern who was followed by Lugia and the rest of the pack. Gliscor who was simply gliding through the air was currently behind. Dragonite continued to lead as he continued to fly at a steady quick pace. Braviary had now taken second as was trying to close the gap between him and Dragonite. Lugia flew up and was now slightly ahead of staraptor however he wasn’t alone. Salamence had also had a speed boost and came flying up and was now flying alongside staraptor. Noivern was right behind them followed by the rest of the pack. Gliscor realizing he was falling behind, quickly unleashed a burst of speed which allowed him to catch up to 11th place Hydreigon.
Dragonite continued to fly and Braviary was fairly close behind him. No matter how hard Braviary pushed dragonite maintained the same amount of distance ahead, answering Bravairy’s boost with his own. Noivern unleashed a burst of speed which allowed him to catch up to Lugia and fly ahead of him to take third place. Staraptor, Flygon, Salamence, Aerodactyl and Crobat were all close together trying to get ahead of each other while Talomflame flew in 10th followed by Gliscor then Hydreigon.
Dragonite pulled ahead and began speeding up towards the finish line and Braviary could no longer keep up and began to lower its pace in an attempt to catch its breath. Lugia quickly passed by him and took second. Braviary saw this and still didn’t respond. More and More competitors passed the member from team generation 5. He had fallen straight from 2nd to 7th place. Dragonite had a monstrous lead and the only Pokémon somewhat close to him was now Lugia. Noivern and Staraptor were now fighting hard trying to take third place. They were neck and neck flying past each other falling behind the other and sometimes pulling ahead. Behind them was Flygon who was now flying as fast as he could trying to catch up and take the third place. Salamence, Aerodactyl and Crobat were giving Braviary a run for it money as they all raced to secure event points. Talonflame had kicked into his sprinting form and was flying fast however the distance between him and the others was great. Hydreigon had now left Gliscor behind and was flying to make sure he didn’t come last.
Dragonite flew passed the line easily securing first place. Lugia was coming in for a fairly easy second however behind him was Staraptor and Noivern, both Pokémon were racing neck and neck towards the line but Lugia had passed it before they could catch up. Staraptor pulled ahead and headed for the finish line in third. The race for 5th was heating up as well as Braviary had now unleashed his second burst. He was flying fast leaving aerodactyl, Salamence and Crobat in the dust. He had now caught up to flygon and pushed harder finally passing the dragon type, however it was short lived. Flygon unleashed a burst of speed flying past bravairy and quickly catching up to Noivern and Staraptor. Staraptor had now crossed the line 3rd but Noivern was flying in hard trying to secure the 4th position. Flygon was breathing right down his neck and his crept closer and closer to him due to his last burst of speed. The line was right there he had just seen staraptor pass it but Flygon was right on his tail. They were neck and neck as they crossed the finish line. Noivern had managed to take 4th position by a nose forcing flygon to settle for 5th. Braviary who had unleased his second wind came in slow for a 6th place finish. The battle for 7th place however was heating up. Salamence, Aerodactyl and Crobat were all racing towards the line each of them giving it their all to try to take one of the last 2 event point spots. Aerodactyl and Salamence pulled ahead of Crobat who had begun using all 4 of his wings to fly instead of alternating them. It gave him a burst of speed but he still couldn’t keep up. Salamence gave it his all and managed to pull ahead of aerodactyl right before the line taking 7th place. Aerodactyl had to settle for 8th while crobat came 9th. Not long after they crossed the finish line Talonflame came in red hot for the 10th spot. Talonflame had been closing the distance between him and the 3 for a while but it wasn’t enough for him to pass even one of them. The race only had two competitors left, Hydreigon and Gliscor and Hydreigon was first out of the two and kept putting more and more distance between him and gliscor to secure his 11th place leaving Gliscor to place last.

Mountain/Rock Climbing Results
Welcome back sports fans, the 6th event of the Pokémon Olympics and Rock/Mountain Climb is about to begin. This event is all about upper body strength, how fast the Pokémon can climb and if the Pokémon has enough endurance to keep up a fast enough pace to give it the win. The athletes are now at the starting line. Representing team Generation 1, we have Machamp and Nidoking! Representing team Generation 2 we have, Heracross and Ursaring! Representing team Generation 3, we have Sceptile and Blaziken! Representing team Generation 4, we have Infernape and Gallade! Representing team Generation 5, we have Excadrill and Beartic! Representing team Generation 6 we have Greninja and Chesnaught! The athletes are now under starting orders.
On your mark! Get set! Bang! They were off. Starting first was none other than sceptile, who began scaling the cliff very quickly. Behind him was infernape who was also scaling the cliff very quickly and right behind them was Machamp who was using his 4 arms and his two legs to climb the cliff as if he was a spider. On the other hand Gallade was having a lot of trouble climbing and was off to a very slow start and right in front of him was Nidoking who was also having trouble finding a good grip in the cliff. Chesnaught was right in front of him and was trying to climb faster. It was then that Infernape jumped ahead of Sceptile with his incredible speed. Sceptile seemed to be slowing down as well as Ursaring and Blaziken climbed their way into second place and Beartic made it to fourth place. Right on their tails however were Sceptile, Machamp and Excadrill. Chesnaught had now began climbing harder and was beginning to catch up to the others leaving Heracross, Nidoking, Greninja and Gallade behind him. Ursaring wasn’t done Powering through yet as he climbed passed infernape and took the top spot. Blaziken and Infernape began climbing together as blaziken caught up to Infernape. Machamp was once again picking up the pace and so was Excadrill. The racers positions began to switch very quickly as each one took advantage of an opening. Soon Ursaring was out in front followed very closely by Machamp. A bit behind them was Beartic who was in third who with Infernape, Excadrill and Nidoking hot on his tail. Sceptile and Blaziken were also right behind them. Heracross was also further behind them followed by Chesnaught and Greninja with Gallade now in a distant last.
Machamp began powering through and pushed passed Ursaring taking 1st place. He not only took the position but began to increase his pace as well creating a gap between the two Pokémon. Ursaring couldn’t keep up but that wasn’t his only problem Infernape had increased his climbing speed dramatically and was now right on ursaring’s tail. He had created a gap between him and the others and now had his eyes locked on Ursaring. Sceptile, Blaziken, Excadrill, and Beartic were now fighting for 4th place. All 4 of them were climbing together and practically the same pace. Sceptile edging them out before Beartic did the same. Then came excadrill but then came blaziken. They were going hard trying their best to beat their opponents. Nidoking had fallen to 8th place but had managed to put a fairly good lead over 9th being heracross. Greninja was climbing faster as well but the gap between him and heracross was a big one. The weight of Chesnaught’s shell was also having its effect as Chesnaught could no longer keep up with his smaller and more agile partner. Gallade however was still forever alone in the back.
Machamp powered through passing the finish line in a convincing 1st place. Ursaring was in second place coming towards the line but Infernape was right on his tail in 3rd. Infernap had closed the gap so much so that they were neck and neck however at the last second ursaring put all his strength in and climbed pushed ahead securing his 2nd place and leaving infernape with the third. Behind them the 4 Pokémon were coming in hot. No one could truly tell who was leading and who was behind. They were all neck and neck. Excadrill fell behind slightly as they crossed the line with the other 3 all close together. However it was Blaziken that had managed the 4th place finish edging out both Sceptile and Beartic by a nose with Excarill coming in 7th. Nidoking was the next to come in in a very comfortable 8th, followed by Heracross and Greninja who both finished with comfortable 9th place and 10th place respectively. Chesnaught finished next and looked beat and finishing last was Gallade who was even more out of it than the others. The race was over!
1st Place:Machamp - 92 Points - Gold Medal
2nd Place: Ursaring - 82 Points - Silver Medal
3rd Place:Infernape - 80 Points - Bronze Medal

Very close match! I personally thought Excadrill would do a bit better as well as Greninja, but I think most pokemon are where they should be.
And another nice write-up Uran! :D

Ka-pi96 said: A bear came in 2nd? That's good I suppose. A lot of pretty close positions, well except at the bottom Nice to see Beartic made it to 3rd at one point, too bad he slipped down after that. Good to see positions changing though, especially at the top with Sceptile, Ursaring and Machamp all having some time in 1st. A lot of these seem like one Pokemon dominates from beginning to end so it's nice to see an event where that isn't the case. |
Infernape also had first for a bit as well :)
