The music industry here in Australia is pushing for it. They won't a three strikes your out system. They actually seem to be making some headway with their argument for it.

Yeah you guys have some great artists. Just shut down and legalize sites in america. Its the most file shared area. Limewire.
Even with this in place, they might lose a lot of customers and some customers might switch over to another ISP.
That is, unless all ISP's have the same initiative.
Looks like everyone who wants to download stuff will just have to do it from their neighbors wireless or from wireless buisnesses, Mcdonalds, Internet Cafes, Libraries, Schools...

As I said in the other friend, one of my old teachers who i consider a friend would ride the bus downtown every day. He could get a wireless signial pretty much uninterupted for the entire ride.
I imagine it's even worse in Japan.
Edit: The article mentions four Japan ISPs, does anyone know who they are and how many total ISPs are in Japan? It (the article) seems to try to imply tha's all of Japan's ISPs.

Locked wireless networks. Everything will change from here.
im going to hate to see how hackers react to this if it goes through. I feel sorry for the Japanese Government...
