Forums - Gaming Discussion - WSJ: China to End Ban on Videogame Consoles

A lot of parents and adults in general still seem very anti-computer games in China. There's still a lot of stigma here.

Much of the gaming that's big out in China is the life draining stuff like MMO's and MOBA's. When I raise the fact that I play video games to a Chinese person the assumption I'm met with is that I'm wasting all my free time on computer games. The reality is I have much bigger hobbies.

I swear there's an article like this every few months.

And Sony has already released the PS4 anyway.

I thought this already happened...
China isn't a big market for consoles so it won't make much of a difference.

Didn't this already happen? I was sure they were already for sale there, and I'm sure they've been being made in China for a long long time now.
