Back from work today!
On Saturday (when I didn't work) we sold a PS3. We have still not sold any Xbox360s this week.
We received 33 Wiis last night, and put them on the shelves this morning. People knew they were coming, because we had an ad in the paper. We sold 22 to people standing in line before the store opened: the remaining 11 sold by noon (we open at ten). This represents a slow down from last shipment, as we could sell all of them to people waiting in line with room to spare. However, it is better than the shipment before that, when we didn't sell out until 6 at night. In general, however, it's fair to say we're seeing a slight slow, but that "slowing" is relative here, of course.
I talked previously about a co worker who seemed set on getting a PS3. Today, he seemed to be indicating that now he was unsure if he would get a PS3 or 360. The Wii is definitely off the table for him, by the way.
Oh! Forgot to add that we sold a Gamecube today. This is amazing news, as we have had precisely 8 Gamecubes sitting on our shelves for months. As a side note, we still sell PS2s fairly briskly (2-3 a week? 10+ a month? Something like that).
