I want to throttle Nintendo execs. I feel they always bring their best when they're in the hot seat and I'm very happy fans have been very vocal and angry about a new Metroid.

Twilight Princess -> Skyward Sword (5 years)

This will just be another 5 year development cycle (assuming they started in 2011), and it's the first HD one, so it makes sense.


Twilight Princess was probably only 4 years due to it being delayed for the Wii. Its initial target was 2005 (3 years) and Nintendo didn't announce its delay til quite late, so it probably wasn't a developement problem they were having.

Skyward Sword didn't start development until 2008. So its actually 3-4 years cycle.

I think Nintendo should develop a second Zelda team. Ocraina of time, Majora's Mask and WindWaker all arrived within 5 years. Now we're waiting 5 years just to get one new console entry. Also it'd mean NX won't get its actual ground up Zelda game til 2021

So development of last two Zelda games was around 4 years, so having 5 years for first HD and most biggest and ambitious Zelda game ever dont look like big difference. I expect next new Zelda after Zelda U around 2020.

Yeah, it is way better, yet people keep complaing about 3DWorld. People may not like it, but calling it trash is being delusional.

While it's not a real 3D Mario, or compared to 64/Sunshine/Galaxy it's way inferior, this game is like SMB3 but in a 3D environment. I recommend highly to play as a new sub series to Mario. Way way better than NSMB.

Zelda will launch WHEN NX is ready.

It's pretty obvious it will launch on both consoles.

People called Sunshine Trash, now they love it.  Same with Windwaker, Twilight Princess, and so on.
