That´s a highly stupid comparison when you see that 6 of those 10 games are from the past generation, and not only that, you see games like Shovel Knight with a 91 on ps4 just because it has less reviews than the original one on Wiiu that has a 88, but they are the same game... and a 86 on XBO because... reasons.

Indie games are not scored the same way than the rest of the games, they never are, so it makes no sense to mix a 94 of a 2 hour game for... 15$? with the scores of retail game at 60$.

If you don´t count past generation games and indies than you have PS4 with 3 +90, the XBO with one +90 and the WiiU with 4 +90


Its actually 7 of those games from 7th gen on that PS4 list. The only ones released on PS4 day one are Witcher 3 and Bloodborne

Not a PS4 exclusive or a next-gen exclusive, but still a good game for those who didn't pick it up on PS3.

Oh yes you are right, is 7 past generation games, and not only that, I´ve realized that the Raymand Legends version of XBO is not counted on that Metacritic list because... reasons. But that game is also a +90 so the XBO has 2 instead of one.

This is why PS4 is The Best Place to Play. How else would i play Journey, TLOU, Witcher 3,  Shovel knight, flower, rayman and fez? Based Sony.

You can play half of those games everywhere else, and the other 2 consoles has backward compatibility, so they can play last generation masterpieces but they are not counted on metacritic, wich is kind of ironic to be honest, the one charging you money again for the same games receives more praised just because those games appear on a metacritic list.

I always find this 'elsewhere' argument really odd. They're clearly NOT playing them elsewhere are they. They're buying PS4s to play them.

No, it isn't. Indie as in independent publishers. As in if Journey was an indie, it would be developed and published by thatgamecompany. Journey is just a PSN title, it's not a indie and not a AAA title.

Contracted by Sony hence not indie.

OT: Journey was a fun game but I wouoldn't rate it anywhere higher than a 8.5 imo. 92-94 on metacritic does seem a little overrated to me.

If Rayman: Legends is included that would make 3 for PS4.

XB1 currently has limited backwards compatibility, but I agree, these lists are rather silly and bear no significance.

Btw Journey is free on PS4 for those who had it on PS3.

Except of course half of those games are cross-buy, so if you had the PS3 version you get the PS4 version for free. Also, one of the 2 Xbox One games is a last gen game that players had to re-buy, as is Windwaker HD on the WiiU.

Oh, and what is the 4th 90+ WiiU game? (not counting past-gen or indies) I'm seeing SSB, Bayonetta, and 3D World.

Edit: Oh, and to the OP, Loved Journey! Played it yesterday on the PS4 after not playing it for months and it really is an awesome game.
