Finally there's a proper PS4 remote control
Sony's PlayStation 4 console is about to get a great new accessory in the form of an officially licensed remote control

The PlayStation 4 is a great console in many ways - the games look great, the store experience is (mostly) hassle free and we can't say enough good things about PS Plus but there are still some surprising rough edges. Like the measly battery life of the DualShock 4 controller.
We can't count the number of times we've had it disconnect until you feed it with more energy, or how often we've been forced to play while tethered to an always-just-too-short charging cable. So that's just one of the reasons why today's news is so great - there's an officially licensed PS4 remote on the way.
Hail glorious remote control!

The biggest news though has to be that it has an estimated minimum battery life of six months with 2 AAA batteries. That's under normal use, so you could get plenty more days, instead of having to charge it seemingly every six hours! The plethora of buttons should make it easy to navigate menus and to play and pause services like Netflix. The face buttons are even replicated so there's a chance you could play games. Play them badly but still you just know someone is going to be the first to finish Bloodborne using only a remote control.
The official PS4 Universal Media Remote will quite simply make your media enjoyment on the console easier. And it's set to arrive on the 31st of October 2015, for a price of $30 - we're guessing that'll also be €30.

cant waint to see someone beating Bloodborne with this thing tough its impossible me thinks
