Dat Godzilla effect on PS4!

That's right, it's soo bad that people had to buy 2 PS4s for it. One PS4 to play Godzilla on in a hidden area of the house/apartment, and one PS4 for playing every other game.

OR

People are far to embarassed to have the physical game case in the house and it actually sold 100K on PSN the day it launched.

But seriously, if Batman at 48K can boost PS4 to 24K for the week, it seems like there are quite a few people waiting in the wings for that one game for them to buy a PS4. Splatoon had 3* the sales of Batman but Wii U had 7K less hardware sales for its launch week.

I've noticed a pattern with Famitsu with Wii U and PS4. It's almost always lower than MC with PS4 and almost always higher than MC with Wii U. Why is that? Is the consumer base Famitsu tracks more Nintendo oriented for some odd reason? I'm not questioning their objectivity, it's just odd that there seems to almost always be a Nintendo skew in the data they collect, on the home console front at least. I never really botther with handheld sales data because they interest me less. Or am I suffering from selective memory?

A lot of you clearly don't know that bloodborne was recently bundled with every ps4 bought. Hiska has more details but that's the main cause of the boost.

I don't know if that alone is the cause of the boost, but it's certainly part of it. I wouldn't be surprised if it incentivized people on fence to go ahead and jump in while the promotion was in effect.

Well there are some rumors flouting around a group called Black Masks, they have supposedly threatened to publicly shame anyone they catch playing Godzilla.

PS4 hardware trend is very positive, maintain steady growth and PS4 can really be called a savior in Japan. Console decline was so long and steady, it is impossible to change it overnight and the climb is/will be really long (years). One thing to consider could be PS4 install base, maybe online community is now big enough to attract more players.

I have noticed PS4/WiiU pattern too.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
